Frequently Asked Questions
Some common questions asked at our Psychology Practice.
Q: What is Psychology?
A: Psychology is the study of the human mind and how it works. Psychologists pay particular attention to how human thought and behaviour relate to mental processes. This gives them a deep understanding of the mind and how it relates to our behaviour and experiences.
A Psychologist uses this scientific knowledge to help people who want to change their thoughts and behaviours, enabling them to live happier and more fulfilling lives. As the mind and body are interconnected, many people often report experiencing improvements in their physical health following a course of Psychological Therapy.
